Jed's dad passed the bar and can't wait to sue the hell out of someone. In fact, he just might start with the three people who voted for Sarah in the latest poll.

This is what happens when I pick out an adorable red-and-white striped outfit for Jed (thanks Aunt Phyllis and Uncle Jim!) but forget to put his socks on: Eric adds mint-green socks to the mix and pulls them up to the kid's knees.

Who does Jed look like?

Of course, Jed looks like Jed. But a lot of his good looks come from his parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents, and we see lots of people in his face and even in his hands and feet, but we want to know who you see. Happy Three Months, Jed!

Jed turned three months old yesterday! He is smiling so much now, and he loves his wooden rattles and his zebra rattle (thanks to Grandma Marlene, Greg, and Cousin Barbara for those). Even in mid-cry, he'll give a smile for a rattle!

So here are some new pictures, although with fewer grins than you might be expecting, given the above comments! Now, if we can just get the eyes uncrossed . . .

This weekend, Jed turned 11 weeks old, and he made his first out-of-state trek on Saturday when we went up to Virginia to visit Chris and Sherry before their baby arrives in just a few weeks.

Today was Sarah's first day back at work. By the end of the day, no one seemed the worse for wear: Sarah was pretty happy to have seen her friends and co-workers while Eric and Jed had enjoyed a good daddy day! So smiles for everyone, although Jed's are the only ones we documented.
