During the last few days, we've used Uber, Airbnb, and had spinach smoothies. Where were we?
Why, San Francisco, of course!
We had a fantastic time, but as all our David-Family-visits do, it went by too quickly. The boys were great travelers on the plane and the grown-ups were even allowed to sleep and read their own books and magazines throughout the journey! And, best of all, everyone was able to manage his or her own luggage in and out of the airports.
We rode the cable car, drove over the Golden Gate Bridge, visited Tiburon, took a ferry ride, watched street performers and enjoyed as much cousin time as possible! Thanks for hosting, Brian and Dara!
As soon as we arrived, Jed made a beeline for Tobin.

Jed and Amara visited the Japanese Tea Garden while Tobin and Macon hit the Academy of Sciences.

In Tiburon, we visited the fire station . . .
. . . and played on the rocks despite all the grown-ups yelling, "get off the rocks!"
Tobin followed the rules, but he was really keeping an eye on Macon throughout the trip, so rule-following won't be his strong suit for long, I fear.
Jed yelled, "Let's make a cousin sandwich," to which Amara responded, "I want to be the ketchup!"
returning to SF by ferry
Our ferry landed at Fisherman's Wharf, so we joined the masses of humanity, and the street performers blew the boys' minds. Here, Jed is helping a magician.
