Yesterday was Jed's first flag football game. He's been having a good time with it and his team dominated the game.

We had a visitor. 

Eric told him, "Go Carolina," and I said, "It's great to be a Demon Deacon," and he moved along.

Every year, the preschool goes to the Farmers' Market in October. Yesterday was our final such outing. I was a little sad about it, but all the farmers at the market seemed pretty chipper. Huuummm.

I can't wait to see some front-views of this, because this was about as good as it got with Macon facing sideways and one of his favorite friends facing backward (that child's hat is just visible to Macon's right).

Marmie was here for a short but great visit. 

On Sunday, we tried to get a family photo. Some lacked willingness. 

But we've had some good art production at home lately.

After twelve straight days of rain, when a kid (who is home from school because of his annual bout of croup) asks to take indoor toys outside, one must say yes.
